So like most of my classmates who will be reading this, if it wasn't a shock to you how outrageous the Internet has become you must be pretty tight with surfing the net often! I could not believe after looking at the web 2.0 site how categorical things could be and how there are many resourceful sites just sitting waiting for members to join. I was a sucker and created an iStats Fitness account, but mainly just to see what it was all about. And to my surprise it seemed to be a very great assets to someone who is unsure of how to create their own exercise program, not only does it create the exercise list for you but it gives reps and sets also! Another site I found very useful after coming home from a stressful day was cocktailbuilder....lol. It was a site which guides you in the kitchen with creating drinks with materials already in the home. You done even have to leave the house because it comes up with a mix for you.
As for google docs, I think this could be a great place to upload class powerpoint lectures for college studetns who miss class for the day. It gives us the teacher a way to provide our materials without having to stress over studetns coming in to ask what they missed. I think this will be a very sucessful tool I plan on using when I become a full time college teacher. And to many students who do attend class, I think this will be a good review place for them to visit come test time. If you could think of any other suggestions please advise me!

Technology Articles
We all know that technology is pretty advanced, but since the early 1900's when the digital age began it has been a non stop process creating new ideas daily. Of the three articles I read over I came to the same conclusion about the internet, microblogging, social networking, and Flickr, it is all done for our pure enjoy in life that we want to share with others who either we just met by adding them as friends on facebook, or comming across a blog we found when using key words to search. We as humans find gratification knowing other people can follow our lives especially when they are full of adventure and excitement. There are lots of other reasons to use these sites though, if we really think long and hard about all of the opportunity that arises when we as educators create and upload our lecture notes, interesting sites, or even a help line to our students we may get more feedback then we think. I think it is worth a try to engage our students to use the resources avaliable to them and us. They many different opportunities from Podcasting(once I figure out how to create one), microblogging, and webblogs our teaching becomes endless to get messages across to our students day or night. I am very excited to start using my resources when I become a full time teacher and wait for the outcome I receive.

Technology!!!!
So I can't get over how technology is a nonstop reinventing cycle. We have gone from the Zack Morris Cell phone which wouldn't even fit in the average purse today, to the tiniest of phones that fit in the plam of a hand. I have gotten tons of information on the new technology cell phone companies have created. They have gone as far as setting up GPS trackers with the use of text messaging. Parents who own a GPS phone can now keep tabs on their kids without ever having to make a call or leaving thier desk. Amazing!
